Nikon SLR Lenses

There are two ranges of Nikon lenses for the Nikon digital SLRs: the full frame FX foramt lenses and the DX format lenses. On this page are links to the Nikon lens price comparison listings for all Nikon Lenses, helping you find the best price for genuine UK stock lenses.
The Nikon FX format lenses are compatible with all Nikon DSLRs, working with both full frame bodies such as the Nikon D5, D750, D810 and D610, and with smaller DX (APS-C sensor) bodies such as the Nikon D500, D7200, D5500 and D5300. The Nikon FX Lenses section also includes the price comparisons for the Nikon Teleconverters (extenders) and extension rings. You will also find the specialised tilt and shift PC-E lenses listed here.
The Nikon DX lens range is primarily designed to work with the DX (APS-C sensor) Format Nikon DLSRs which have smaller sensors than the FX cameras, such as the Nikon D500, D7200, D5500 and D5300. The lenses are typically smaller than the FX mount equivalents, as optically they are designed to produce a smaller image (to cover only the smaller DX sensor). These Nikon SLRs with DX sensors also work with the FX format lenses, so it is worth comparing the prices of the similar FX lenses, especially if you think you may upgrade to a full frame FX body in the future (such as the Nikon D750). Note that you can use DX lenses on FX cameras, but cannot take advantage of the full frame FX sensor size.
Note that neither of these lens types will work with the Nikon 1 system cameras, unless you use an adapter - but you can find the Nikon 1 lenses for the Nikon 1 system cameras here.
